Congratulations on the sale, I quite liked the quirky look of that myself.

How about changing the title from "F/S or trade" to "SOLD" for clarity.  Keeping the contents makes for valuable reference for the community.  Cheers,  Chris.

Sorry to resurrect such an old thread but the whole subject has come back to the fore

It was a vague copy of what Argent 's Russ Ballard had on his 65 Strat when he was in Argent 

He wrote more songs that you'll know than you realise Hold Your Head Up, God Gave Rock and Roll to You, New York Groove, Since You've Been Gone, I surrender(Rainbow), Into the Night, No More the fool (Elkie Brooks), So you win again (hot chocolate)

Interestingly I have been asked to make another but much more accurate to the original which had an altered top horn

Kev Chilcott made some brilliant guitars back in the 80's including his nod to Russ Bullards Strat

The tele neck was a replacement for the original strat one that got dropped and broke through the hole that was in the headstock
