@breakstuff you just put @ before the name as in @breakstuff.

When I send messages the message types as all one sentence irrespective of hitting return to start a new line, can I fi it somehow. I use an iPad...... Edit, like this! Paul

Hi there, Having a problem with when I post a comment or thread on my ipad no matter if I space out my paragraphs ,when I go and post it ,it all clumps together in to one big wall of text. 

How do I solve this problem.

How do you do the @"insert members name here" thing the comes up in blue writing, so they get notified?

I have had a bit of a look for the answer, honest

You type the @ symbol, and then the members name!

Don't put a space between @ and the name.  Don't put any other characters next to either.  If the member has set up their notification preferences appropriately, they'll get a pop-up or email when you do it.  Handy if they're involved in lots of threads and might not see something that you want them to.

Also, @kin, it should be changed to blue text colour by the forum software, indicating that it is a link.  You can check if it works OK by clicking on the name when you have posted it, it should take you to that users profile page, if not try and work out what went wrong, and edit it and re-post the comment, then re-check again.  Sometimes the forum software just won't play ball, but you can usually get around it.  Hope that helps...
