People who whistle at work.

Is this not one of the most annoying things in the world? You know, you are there doing what you do, then, someone , somewhere whistles half the chorus to the last thing on the radio in a very ''catchy'' , out of key, out of tune, somewhat flamboyant manner that just makes you want to puke? If this hasn't bothered you before, it will now!

I could never whistle, lots of people had tried to teach me, very annoying. until i just started doing it one day at work

I got a temp job at HBOS processing all the "gone aways".  Basically removing addresses from the system for all the returned promotional letters.   Pretty boring stuff, do I cleared my mind and got myself in a nice little routine.  

So yeah, I spent years trying to whistle, then it just appeared one day

I do that, but only when in the confines of my office and the door being shut.
No one else needs to hear my perfectly in key, tune and time whistling.

I often whistle the vocals to something I might be playing whilst sittng on the sofa in front of the telly with a guitar in my hands.

However tuneless it may be, it's still nowhere near as bad as if I were to actually sing.

I remember seeing a documentary on The Good Life and it referenced Richard Bryers' incoherent whistling of same nonsensical tune... I whistle that to piss people off too now!

I only whistle at work when the person who hates whistling at work is in.

I particularly like starting one tune and ending with another.

I once observed a very cheerful traffic warden, whistling the Dallas theme tune whilst putting a ticket on a car that was hanging by a matter of mms over a yellow line. 

If there was ever an advert for an instant, High St kangaroo court and summary execution then that was it.

Or better still; the ridiculous case of a BLACK woman in court this week on charges of racism for calling another Black man a "Nigger" and a" Coon "!.........Quite incredible that one !
