A telecaster with block inlays on the fretboard ... is it wrong?

I would not choose block inlays on a Telecaster fingerboard myself but that does not make it "wrong" that somebody else should.

Gibson-style trapezoids or split parallelograms would be a different matter. 

Given the price of rosewood these days, the less of it that you cut out, the better.

That's one of the sickest things I've read on here, or any other internet forum I've been on. I'm going to be making sure that my kids don't accidently browse this site on my phone, in fact talk like that is making me question if I want to be on here myself.

I mean a laugh and a joke is one thing but why push it, why cross the line, block inlays on a telecaster for fuck sake, what's wrong with you.

I don't have a hot cousin, but if I did, I would hope she was a carlsberg hot cousin! As for blocks on a tele, that's just wrong.

Block inlays are wrong on any 6 string Fender guitar.
