Runs 10k, then carries a couple of his kids to the track, and carries one of them all the way round the track.

Not entirely sure I could walk 10k and be that fresh.

I'd think it'd be far more pertinent to ask why, when it comes to sports involving pure physical prowess, us white folk generally aren't actually very good.

It's not so simple - the sports people try to get good at matter too - one of the reasons we see so many amazing Jamaican sprinters is how highly respected sprinting is in the country, kids grow up wanting to be good at sprinting. Over here (where the population is majority white) people tend to try and play football instead of going in to athletics. To get world class at any sport you have to specialise and from a young enough age to be at your peak in your physical prime.

Because one is an actual observation (non-white folk genuinely are better at running sports), and yours was blatant racism whether intended as parody or not.

based on this we should have the best football team in the world.... but we don't.
I suggest we bin football and choose a sport we are good at.... maybe bog snorkeling

You don't automatically become best because it's the nations favourite sport - especially with team sports where there are more factors than purely being the best at one skill (e.g. distance running, sprinting etc)

Anyway black people can run but they can't swim...

Something to do with high muscle density and them not being buoyant. Obviously being muscular does lend itself to being athletic though.

He has been brilliant for a great many years, but I personally think that you are slightly short of GBs best ever without a world record. Our great runners of the past, Coe, Ovett, Cram were all WR holders at some point (er .... I think Ovett was??). Not taking away from his amazing achievements of course.

I saw him at the 2015 (I think) GNR, I thought as it's a long distance I'd get to look at his legs for a good while, but they were going faster than I can sprint.
