How did the OP get banned and unbanned?

    Glitch in the Matrix?
I tried logging in through a privacy centric browser (Epic Browse) which is built on chrome but pretty much stripped down, advert and tracker blocking. I might have had the proxy on and my account was flagged and auto-banned, but managed to speak to mods and they sorted it out very quickly! Thank you :)

Forgot to add - look at the pic/link again - It is the only guitar I know that can rest on a conventional floor guitar stand at a 90 degree angle and not fall out

No - if you put a Gibson on a rubber coated stand and leave it a while, the nitro paint will bond to the rubber and you could pick it up like that ........

I suppose if I were to choose one thing now, it might have to be this CS Fender.

Or an Anderson of some description.

Hey @Moss ;, if thats not my EGC its one very like it -

Apparently putting a JM like trem on an acrylic body would cause horrible tuning problems.

Here is the current fantasy and one that will remain a fantasy

A PRS Private Stock  594 single pickup, possibly a rosewood neck but no other bling to keep the junior ethic
I would want to audition a 408 pickup in it rather than a P90 and see which I prefer.

I would estimate around 10-12k with the normal up charge and once I had it in my hand it would be worth about the same as a 2015  Gibson Junior, the depreciation would be draconian.

So it will remain a fantasy

  • This week I spent £400 on an ESP Ltd singlecut.   And now I'm wondering if money were no object what would I change about it. Yes maybe more expensive pickups (though the originals sound fine), and perhaps some neater finishing around the control routs around the back.

Genuinely can't think of much I'd change bout my Ltd, which is odd, because much as I love my Les Paul Traditional I can think of plenty of things about that I'd change.

I suppose the 80s kid in me would love a really blinged up superstrat, something made of fancy woods with a Floyd, HSS etc. I quite like that Spalted Maple Knaggs uses that looks like it has blue lightning running through it. So there we go - dream guitar, bonkers 80s superstrat, reverse headstock, Floyd, HSS, silly wood. That'd do me.

Wayne Monster or Rock Legend for me. Or maybe a Masterbuilt Esquire.

  • I'm a bit more modest than you guys. I'd either get Jaden to come back to guitars and make me a wenge pack Original Series with SSS pickups (Lace Sensors), or talk to @KempGuitars about doing something similar. Or possibly both.
