  • Start with a PRS Standard 22, then;
    • Make the whole thing out of korina with a doghair finish;
    • 594 electronics & control layout;
    • Phase III tuners;
    • 6100 frets;
    • Moon inlays; and
    • Carve the neck to Fender's 10/56 profile.
    That would keep me very happy for a while.

  • For me it would be a Vigier Surfretter

    And a Vigier GV

    I'd probably have a Vigier Expert too.

    I like Vigiers

    Marlin Sidewinder.

    I don't think I could handle the quality though.
    My first electric, it was exactly like that one.

    Mine would be a Troublemaker.
    https://www.gearnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/Fender-Troublemaker-Tele.jpg

    Or a Green LP.

    A Deuce , a Tele and a cup of tea.

    That!! So much, it looks amazing.
    The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

    I'm boring. I'd take the right blackguard telecaster (be it a Fender, Suhr, or anything else) & a Martin D28.

    I basically just want the best feeling guitar I can find that looks like this (I'm not even the biggest RB fan - I just LOVE Telecasters, and he's the king):

    Well....I might be tempted to get Paul R Smith to make me a T*lecaster inspired guitar.....we'd call it Brown Earth?
    In all seriousness I would love something by my old friend John Page, he makes some seriously beautiful custom built guitars (not the Classic series).

    Have wanted to get a:
    Parker Fly (just love the look of them)
    Epiphone Casino (John Lennon/Beatles obsession)
    Steve Lukather Music Man electric guitar
    For years but have never got around to it & partly couldn’t justify the costs compared to the few hours I would generally end up playing them.

    Atm I have a bit of a Fender Jazzmaster obsession, and have never owned one, so it would be one of those.  Probably this one atm as I love the natural woodgrain rather than a paint finish that hides it.  Currently can be had for £1500.

    I'm not interested in buying electric guitars since I started making my own, so I think I'd probably get the best playing Martin acoustic that I could find.

    All my aspirations lie with getting instruments built by my favorite luthiers ... so on the  Huge wodge shopping list would be a
    A Lion from @FelineGuitars ; ... probably in that gorgeous 'copper top' finish he did a while back.

    And to go with that ... something from Mike at Stonewolf ... probably one of these as I currently don't have a 7 string.

    Then I'd have to drop a few quid with Chris at Carillion Guitars .... for something a little flash ...

    And the best bit ... I'd be saving myself a fortune on pickups ;-)

    Gotta say, those Stonewolfs are high on my shopping list too. Particularly the burl/resin bodies. Pickups look alright too ;)
