They need to fix that for those of us with 5k displays.

Yes - the round red button on the track arms it. You also have to enable the monitoring too - here are the two buttons you need:

On your interface (what is it, by the way?), you should have a "mix" control - it should have "input" at one end and "computer" at the other. You want it all the way to "computer".

By the way, you have clicked the non-red button highlighted above, haven't you? That's the one that tells it to send your processed signal out to the speakers.

Finally sorted now, thanks mate. Just spent an hour playing through it and i'm impressed, need a bit of time to play around tweaking but so far so good.

I run a 43" 4K TV as a monitor for my Mac and it is a little cramped, display wise,a re-scaleable window would be a neat touch

If I recall correctly @Digital_Igloo did say that scalability was something they had on the cards after the 1.0 release.

I'm running it in a VST host called Cantible to reduce the CPU overhead. Seem to run Ok on my 6 year old laptop. What are other PC users running it in?

Im using it on a 2015 MacBook Pro, 16gb ram , ssd no probs here but I'm going to try it on a project today ... see how tough it is on resources ...

I'm def going to try the free trial when I get a period where I can maximise the 15 days usage. May just turn this sceptic into a believer!

It's  feature lite ... no tuner, although I usually have a pedal before my guitar goes into the soundcard.

I haven't delved that deep but does Helix have any rack units?

For those with legacy Line 6 devices it seems Line 6 are being lenient on the four device rule and have just upped me to 5 so I can run Helix - you have to request this via a support ticket.

I use Amplitube quite a lot and it offers an FX loop for stomp boxes and a rack at then end of the chain with a bunch of useful rack units, such a two channel stereo EQ, delay, reverb etc. Just wondered if Helix had such a thing?

Ah, I see.

No, it doesn't. But you can do that within the DAW, ie. add post-Helix effects.

It is early days- it will come.
At least they got the modelling right.

I use TC Electronic's Polytune plugin instantiated before the Helix.
