SOLD: PRS McCarty Soapbar goldtop

SOLD 1998 PRS McCarty Soapbar in Goldtop finish for sale. This is not a case queen and has a few small marks, replacement P90s which I believe are early Fralins, and an upgraded PRS fully intonatable bridge/tailpiece. The lacquer has been removed from the back of the wide-fat neck so it feels great to play and it's had a refret and a new bone nut - the frets are new and unmarked. It weighs 8lbs on the nose and comes with the original PRS hard case, with no case candy.

I'm looking for £1,000 and would prefer a cash sale but wouldn't rule out a trade against something like a Gibson Historic, Fender Relic, Martin or Gibson acoustic, or a boutique or vintage combo, with cash adjustment as appropriate. If anyone's got a 50s LP Junior or Special and would like to do a p/x deal let's talk!

I have a guitar carton that I could use for shipping or I could hand-deliver to the buyer at Waterloo station in London on a mutually agreed weekday/time.

Here's the thread from when I first got it and was waxing lyrical about how good a guitar it is. It is a lovely guitar but I've acquired a few other bits and pieces since then and something has to give. We've all been there...

1998. It's quite an early one, it has 'McCarty Model' written on the back of the headstock which I think they stopped doing some time after the first few years of production.
