Salt cod fishcakes with garlic aeoli,

served with roasted new potatoes and a ceaserish style salad topped with  goats cheese and duck breast prosciutto.  I have a growing love for massively unhealthy salads :)

since I made the salt cod and prosciutto from fresh meat I have a few weeks of my life invested in this meal.

As me and her indoors are vegged-out in the conservatory and halfway down a bottle of cheap-arse champagne, it'll be an Asda take home pack of curry dinner which I bought earlier because I won't be in any fit state to cook fuck-all. It should go in the microwave. That's where it's going, anyway.

Roast pork with sage and onion stuffing, with a yorkshire pud, roast potatoes, sweetheart cabbage and 3 sprouts, all swimming about in 2 pints of lovely gravy.

Followed by a very tasty apple tartlet with vanilla ice cream, and washed down with a Spanish Garnacha Rose wine (from Tesco - absurdly good for the price!).

All lovingly prepared by Our Maud's own fair hands - I am a lucky man.

Mrs M put the pies in the feezer so I couldn't defrost them in time. We had fish fingers and a nice parsley sauce to lift it a bit. Pie tomoz instead
