Tiny tuner

can anyone recommend a tiny tuner as I have a very small footprint available on my board.   Doesn't have to be all singing and dancing one but accurate at least ;)

How tiny is "tiny"? The Korg Pitchblack is pretty small and always reliable. I found the TC Polytune Mini to be quite noisy when it's engaged, so I've kind of ignored it since I got rid.

Polytune mini, Pitchblack mini and the Mooer one are all OK. Polytune would be my choice.

Yes I'm leaning towards the polytune. Would you or someone mind measuring the width it takes up with the plugs in the sides please ?

Doesn't that depend on which leads you are using and thus the size of the plugs?

The D'addario one looks tiny and bright ( if a bit more expensive than the competition).

Pitch black mini is 6mm narrower than the polytune!

That's the one then as all mm are at a premium in this case. Plus it runs on lithium batteries which should last ages if ned be ;) But I will be powering it by a power supply :) Thanks guys.

Those EBS patch cables are about the thinnest I've seen. That'll shave a few mms off. I wouldn't get another Polytune pedal, mine's a bit temperamental and the screen lifted off.

Does it have to be on your pedalboard?  Velcro one on top of your amp.  Get a decent tuner.  As the advert states 'you are either in tune or you are not'

No it doesn't have to but just trying to avoid extra cables etc. Also I'm using a looper/switcher that when muted will turn on the tuner etc. I think the Korg would work and that's a reputable tuner :)

Yeah, a sort of rumbling noise.

All my pedals run off a daisy chain except my M5s, which are also noisy if not isolated. I wonder if using an isolated supply would fix the issue with the Polytune.
