Probably true.

My mum has got back to around 1600 on one or two branches of our family tree.  There was a guy from a noble family at that point whose genealogy is well known.  If you go back through that then pretty much all of those boxes are ticked.

If you going to pick a royal to be descended from, then I can think of a better one than King John though!

I really want to do this, I was born here but my mum is French and my Dad is Half German/Half Czech, I know how the French woman feels as I don't really feel drawn to any nation really other than maybe Germany. I suspect that I have a lot of Turkish ancestry and perhaps some middle eastern blood.
