    I remember hearing them on John Peel, and they sounded quite raw. Then they got a bit polished but Crash was great. I went to see them in Manchester I think, in about 1988, and live they left me cold because they sounded just like the album.

    I have to say though - I always considered Anthrax to be a pop band with guitars. I love them, but never thought they were metal - too many hooks and catchy choruses for that!
