Has anyone ever had strange pungent chemical smells briefly in your nose, generated within the nose?  I haven't had one for a while now but used to get it quite regularly.  It's definitely something internal, like a gland or whatever, but it's quite strong - almost enough to make you feel light headed and only lasts a few seconds.

Why do I get the feeling you're all looking at me funny now?

Friend of mine had that. Turned out it was a brain tumour the size of a grapefruit.
