Somewhat boringly, a SD JB is one of the best pickups for that "singing" or "searing" lead.

EMGs on the other hand, could sound bland and thin for lead, unless you use an 85 in the bridge.

SD PATB-1 (meaty) or PATB-2 (Ceramic magnet - more toppy) I like these a lot.

Check out Irongear. Cheap but not rubbish. I'm finding the Tesla Sharks (Slash Duncan copies)) tick that box in a mahogany PRS SE. £70 a pair.

There are loads and loads. I would go for Dimarzio's Tone Zone or Super Distortion, if we're talking bridge pickups. But there hundreds that will get you in that ballpark.

The word searing suggests hot ceramic to me, and aggressive voicing. So for Dimarzio I'd look at the Evo, possibly also the Super Distortion but I haven't tried one of those.

PRS \ m / series are nice and hot, but split the coils and they clean up beautifully
