More importantly you need to perfect the sheepish guitar put down and walk out of shop technique

What I will avoid doing this time is falling for the whacking the amp to full volume gag. Someone cranked this Peavey all the way up and I had guitar center employees heading towards me from all angles. 
Rather than just turn it off I stood there confused and motionless
