    I'll be putting it up there (maybe at £700 there) in the next couple of days, and I might even have to try eekBay, for this and a couple of other things I'm selling.

    Thanks, it's a relief, though the synth idea has long gone: it's all about paying off some plastic.

    The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

    T'was me. It is lovely. Getting a guitar home is a bit like getting a rescue dog home, it takes a couple of nights to get used to each other, but we're building a relationship. And I think I'm one of the few people who's likely to use the Rhythm Circuit a lot.
