I cant get to see it till after Christmas due to work and that darn Christmas.

Saw it today with my lads aged 12 and 10. All of us utterly underwhelmed.

i liked TFA on first viewing and *really* liked it second time. This one has a feeble storyline (it’s also ludicrous, but aren’t they all?), hackneyed dialogue, incongruous gags and too many entirely pointless scenes.

That said, Adam Driver is genuinely a huge talent and lifts every scene he’s in. Boyega is good do.

Just back also, and these are my feelings. Thoroughly enjoyed it and despite it being long, never felt like it dragged, which is a great sign.

Excellent film - probably the best of the whole franchise imo.

Steady on, I wouldn’t go that far, but it was better than TFA I think.
