You can't get in to change the Boss BCB60 power supply, at least not mid-gig. Need to take screws out. 

I think it's a great, compact board with integrated supply that works. 

But for versatility and more pedals, a pedal train would be better (or other brand?).

Let's see.... acoustic pickup, DI, new pedalboard, power supply + spare power supply... it's going to be expensive

Why have you taped over the tap tempo LED on the el cap?

To avoid the onslaught of epilepsy?
Not really its just annoying as the board sits under my desk and it's a little distracting. It's just to dim the light.
