Have set a calendar reminder for early February to buy compost.

They are the same person by the way.
am going to try and get my shit together re theory behind my sciencey interests.
i've got no core theory for biology, chemistry, physics (failed them all at school because i was a serial truant). i can often get the gist and rationally link data, but not knowing the ground rules (how does an atom work?) bugs me now to the point that i am going to have to put some study in (periodic table, basic geometry, laws of physics).
so this book is in the post https://www.amazon.co.uk/Universal-Journey-Through-Brian-Cox/dp/1846144361
and i'm going to buy a basic starter telescope and microscope so i can do some home schooling to catch up what i missed. i wasn't thick or lazy, just autism not being diagnosed until too late.
i'm also going to try to get up to the london museums. the crowds and chaos of london intimidates/overwhelms me so i generally stay away, but i need to do natural history & science museum, national gallery & npg, etc all at least once this year.
& loose weight, get fit blah blah blah. all the usual suspects. and sort out my hair, which i have given up on. i just do bed hair every day by default.
I know a few changes I want to make.
But what's going to be done differently?
[off to ponder that one...]
then buy nice stuff afterwards.
Whad'ya gonna do different next year?
The Plan
Be a better person, eat healthier, enjoy life more, pay off my debts and stop being so grumpy.
The Reality
Fuck All
I'm not locked in here with you, you are locked in here with me.
Seriously, good luck with your fermentacious endeavours chaps. I'd love to do some home brewing, but current domestic circumstance don't allow it. Thankfully there is an excellent microbrewery a few minutes away from my house, so I pick up a flagon there instead.
So, next year ... I'm sure there are a few varieties on the menu I haven't tried yet
JM build | Pedalboard plans
As far as plans go I’m considering buying a wood lathe. Hopefully I can do this without having to build a bigger workshop. It’s also time I made a couple of guitar necks, mainly to find out how differences in dimensions and materials affect playability and sound.
