It's cars with me. Cars are enormous these days.  If you see an original Mini today the thing is so small you almost feel as though you could pick it up and tuck it under your arm.  

My first car was an Austin A35 you could give hand signals out of the nearside window.  But we could get five blokes in it - how?  I have a Mazda now which is about the size of Rutland  and it barely seats four in comfort.

Back to he Future for me - if the film was made today with the same age gaps Marty would be going back to 1987 to meet his Dad who was born in 1970ish .

Do 13 yr olds of today think of 80's music in the way I thought of 50's Rock n roll ? (highly doubtful)...

One of things that throws me is my gear .. I look at something and think 'that's quite new' then I realise I bought it 10+ years ago and haven't used it that often.
