Spent some time cleaning it up and setting it up properly today. Not been the most stable tuning-wise, so give it a little TLC. Turning into a beast of a Les Paul - very pleased indeed....

That’s nice but I meant the custom 3 pickup one. I love the look of black LP customs, they just look so ....I dunno, right. Yours is even better with the less blingy chrome hardware. Mind me asking what sort of money you paid for it?

Ah. No problem. I paid £600 for it although I have seen them cheaper. It was a bit of an impulse buy! Few tweaks and it will be spot on

I agree on the 57/08's in a single cut. My stripped 58 is a great guitar. The bridge pup was a little microphonic when i bought it only manifesting on highish gain settings & in fairness might have been lightly potted for a more authentic vintage sound. I repotted it myself, a bit of a faff but now it's non microphonic & i can't tell any difference tonewise.
PRS's are a great second hand buy, i couldn't care less if dentists play'em

Rate the flyrig really highly @flyingv Really good sounds from a very simple rig. I fancy trying the kotzen and Cali versions next!
