I saw these about 8 months ago. Well, I saw a 59 replica LP by them on YouTube. It sounded good (the amp sounded good, at least). At the time, I remember commenting that there was no rrp on the LP but the strats were €4500. Fast forward to now and the strats are €6000. And, they look like this..

Has anyone else heard of them? That’s serious coin for a Strat with an awful looking headstock.

The odd Masterbuilt fender would hit €6000 though, wouldn’t it?

What?? I can't see any market for that at all. A strat with a terrible terrible headstock. You can get way better looking strats for a fraction of that price, and I refuse to believe that it can be better than Fender strats if it's just a bolt on.

Pretty much in universal agreement with the YouTube comments section about the headstock



£5k is way out of my reach but somebody must be paying that for them somewhere.

I don't know why there is so much hate for the headstock. It looks like copy of a classic, respected and well loved guitar - the Fender Swinger!

I investigated these a while back because, like everybody else, I couldn't understand the price tag. Still can't, but their demo guy, Sharon Levi, is a nice player. Obviously a Knopfler fan.

It's such a pathetically superficial thing, but yeah...that headstock is shocking. In a guitar with that price tag, to have any design element which basically says, "I really couldn't be arsed" is unforgivable.

I like the headstock, just no where near a Strat. And how they get to that price is beyond me.
