Looking for Guitar Straps..

I like the Souldier Hendrix style straps ...

but I think £50+ for a strap that won't see outside my 4 walls is a bit steep espcially as would like to get a couple.  Anyone know of decent quality but decent looking (as above) straps at a decent price?

I wasn't looking with a specific budget restriction and it was still the best I found.

Yeah saw those, but didn't know if they were inferior quality or just lesser/cheaper patterns/designs

If I gigged and relied heavily upon a strap £50 wouldn't be expensive..

They seem to be made out of the same stuff as seatbelts, virtually indestructible and look the business. 

At the other end of the scale you could try the Ethos Custom Harbinger

Keep an eye out for Jodi Head straps, they come up at decent prices on eBay sometimes. As mentioned above Levy’s also are worth a look or if you don’t mind a guitar branded one Gretsch also do some nice 60s style ones too.

Do they affect your TONE though?!

I would have said the DiMarzio Cliplock ones if you're playing live, the ends screw into the body of the guitar and you simply clip the strap in. Still, nice for reassurance if you stand up and play it wont come off. And you get some cool colours too.

Yes if you strike a good colour combination it will add transparency to your TONE

Another possible is the D'Andrea Ace reissue line, which has a red Woodstock jobbie.

They're less than £20... haven't tried one myself.

I've had good experience with Couch straps. Mine are all vinyl ones, but they make material fronted and recycled seatbelt ones too. Very comfortable. Really good build quality- the ends don't stretch with use like leather straps do.

Couch straps are very cool and really well made but I've found the vinyl ones get too sweaty when gigging
