Sorry, and why wouldn't you pay the extra for one thing that you would wear with everything? With that same logic you'd only wear one pair of jeans/shoes with everything else and only pay 20 quid.
Actually, some fashion sense should probably dictate your choice anyway, making sure that the strap goes with both your guitar/s and any performance clothing. The woven straps look great alone but not necessarily with the guitars I have.
Once upon a time, the only strap choices were limited to fender branding tosh or the like. There's so much out there to choose from, don't limit yourself to what's available at your local guitar shop (or even denmark street for that matter) as they are severely limited.
The internet is our friend and boutique hand made straps should get just as much if not more attention from us as the pedal companies.

It's pretty good! I've been meaning to get some more as my current straps are a bit tatty.
