This trend for "thins" is also something that should be halted, a piss poor excuse for a biscuit.
Nonsense. The digestive thin is a thing of wonder.
Went shopping today and noticed they're £1.65 a packet!
     You must be well rich

I tried the digestives thins, but to be honest, I kinda felt cheated, they just didn’t seem to have as much substance. I very nearly reverted back to the standard ones, but having been tempted by a packet of chocolate Hob-Nobs, I caved in and polished off half a packet in one go. Wife banned them with immediate effect, so I’m back on the chocolate malted milk when I’m allowed, otherwise it’s the bog standard version.

Bottom line is I’ll woof down pretty much any biscuit, so I’m not much use as a biscuit tester.

    So, who remembers Sports biscuits

they were a bit like malted mile but a bit more crumblier and sweeter , and had 5 or 6 sports shown on them, in stick man style

    the rowers were my favourite

For dunking - McVities digestives. No further discussion.

    Other biscuits worthy of consumption...

    McVities Rich Tea
    Malted Milk
    Cafe Noire
Scotch Abernethy a close second for dunking.
    Hob Nob
    McVities caramel choc digestive

(Kalimna shuffles off for a cuppa strong tea with milk)

But the fact remains that the Abernethy is an excellent dunker, regardless of Yamaha/Gibson allegiance :)

Abernethy - better quality, consumed by those who know the truth.

    1. If you find yourself in the Netherlands, see if you can pick up some StroopKoeken. Two very short biscuits stuck together with buttery syrup. Just a hint of cinnamon to the assemblage
Had some when I was over there in a market, was superb.

My favourites are McVities milk chocolate digestives
