I've never been in a Lidl.

I'm not a snob, though, I don't mind driving past one.

You should try it - you never know, you might like it, even if just a Lidl bit..

I guess you’d find the middle aisle random shit experience too much - specially the rummaged-through bin full of work socks, sports bras and jeggings....

Er...I'll take that as a no then? ;)

Bet you'd eat a sponge finger though. Or a chocolate one.

I was quite disappointed yesterday  when  i picked up a double pack of custard creams from aldi.  They have packaged them laying edge to edge, rather than face to face.

    1) more of them are broken as the end biscuits are not supporting the middle ones

    2) I estimate about 30% less biscuits per pack

needless to say i ate all 24 in protest

i love twiglets but they have to be the originals. utterly addictive. classic call.

but now you've left the cosy domestic security of the favourite biscuit & are stumbling through dewey verges into the 3am oncoming traffic of 24hour garage food. the unholy pilgrimage.
hofner hussie & hayman harpie. what she said...

Mini cheddars, a pepperami, and one of those cathedral city individual cheese portions.

I do like baking biscuits. So easy and yet the results are always superb.

Every time you do, you're driving past thousands of reasonably priced and very tasty stroopwaffel.

Don't talk politics and don't throw stones. Your royal highnesses.
