I know that it doesn't help you, but whenever I start my work PC and open Chrome it opens my usual tabs, including this site - so it would say that I've logged on even if I haven't actually looked at the page and checked it for notifications etc.
So he may not have actively logged on this morning, or he may have done from a Caribbean island that he bought with the money from the pedal you bought - they're the only two options I can see.

Yes, Could be why. I get an email everytime someone tags me,PMs me or replies to my threads- is that default behaviour or did I set that up myself? Is it possible not to be informed that someone has PM’d you?

You can change preferences, I only get emails if I get PM’s, for anything else I just wanted pop ups.

As the owner of an actual, real, held-it-in-my-hand Spork, I can say that  you don't strike me as being particularly spork-like.

This needs more investigation.
