Readying a couple more for The Guitar Show this weekend....

First up, a Dakota in Aged Pelham Blue. I worked with an auto paint supplier to match the original 1960 Cadillac GM paint codes to get this one EXACTLY right...

    And a N.O.S. Shoreline Gold...

    Great band too

Speaking of 'Dakota's In The Wild'....and any excuse to post these pics cause I'm
still buzzing about it...here's Charlie Starr & Benji Shanks from Blackberry Smoke with a couple of Dakotas on their recent UK tour...

Saw this in the flesh at the show today. Stunning guitar with a beautiful dark rosewood board. Also played the Hurricane 59 which was equally as stunning. I wasn't brave enough to plug it in, maybe next time  :) Thanks for letting me try it Neil, hope you had a good show!

Well...it's been a crazy few weeks at Ivison Guitars HQ!!

Richard Fortus of Guns n' Roses took delivery of a Korina Dakota One, played it during their headline set on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury, during their Hyde Park set and is currently on tour through stadiums in Europe with it!

Our local BBC picked up on the story, then the national BBC & GuitarPlayer too, you can read it here: https://www.guitarplayer.com/news/guns-n-roses-richard-fortus-ivison-guitars-glastonbury-hyde-park

It's a massive honour and accolade for me to have Richard owning and playing one of my guitars - he's a serious guitar aficionado, monster player and a bloody nice bloke too!

Matt from Electric 6 took delivery of his second Dakota, this time a Korina Dakota One with P90 and is currently on tour throughout the UK:

Another Korina Dakota recently finished and was sold before it got to the dealer:

And I've just put the finishing touches to this one, the first Dakota One with a single PAF, which will be available to try at the Brighton Guitar Show on July 15th...
