Anecdote: At school in 1974 a teacher came up to a crowd of us in playground and asked if we would like to earn some money on Sunday... He wanted 'pullers' for a tournament at his Clay Pigeon Club - £5 for the day +lunch and a lift, or could have a few rounds at shooting clays.

So we went and as well as us there were a few other guys from other areas. During lunch guys were all chattering about how they would be spending their earnings and many decided to have a shoot but one guy said - I am putting it towards a new Hofner Galaxy - the one with all the switches... Was only me who knew what he was talking about.

Oh, my fiver went towards an FS1e as I already had an electric guitar!

If memory serves, that’s a 185 - I had one up until a few months ago.
