Finally finished my first partscaster build today.

 Ice blue metallic srat, with Oil City Route 66 pickups. Sounds lovely, sustains forever and the colour is gorgeous :)

    I haven’t added it all up for plausible deniability purposes, but I think somewhere around £750. Actually putting it together took about 3 afternoons with a few bits and bobs here and there.

    I reckon there must be about 5 times that investment in time watching YouTube and searching the Making and Modding section on here to figure out how to do things, then several evenings of agonising over which parts to buy, second guessing myself, then changing my mind again.

    Hey Neil congrats on completing your first build, looks great and glad it has the sound to match! A pleasure working with you on this one! Nice to see a classic white guard on this one too. I'm about to start a complete build with similar parts and am just debating colours, Ice Blue is definitely a contender! Enjoy the guitar - it is really satisfying once everything falls into place isn't it?
