I quite like both and don't really see the harm with switching them occasionally?

Where did that tort guard come from? looks like a nice one from the pictures.

Or ... just buy another JM and have both

I’ve been playing with the gold guard for a while now and it is super pretty, I’ve just got to that point where I’m now considering a change and I stumbled upon that old photo and I’m kinda loving it??

It actually came with the guitar! Supposedly it was all original, I have my suspicions though...

TBH neither of them suit the guitar. Your best option would be to give your guitar to me for safe keeping immediately and buy something else with a white pickguard....
