/\ it Is being sold CHEAP though - new White Hart Stadium is over 1 billion

FA no doubt thinking that the Millennium and Olympic will do instead...

They should sell it and plough the money back into the game. The FA didn't own Wembley during the World Cup of 66, might as well get some money for the stadium.

I thought they were getting back what it cost to build in the first place, which was what, 10 years ago? Plus they'll have had the income for it over that time. The new White Hart Lane is presumably costing £1b to build, not to sell, that's a different thing.
Please note my communication is not very good, so please be patient with me

It's a fairly simple economic question for the FA.

As they didn't pay for it in the first place you're certainly right there.

If someone gave me a £500 million stadium I would flog it and trouser the cash.
