Attaching pedals to a pedal board

How do fellow guitarists attach pedals to a pedal board with regards to the rubber feet that are on the pedals?

Are you suppose to remove the rubber feet on the pedals first?

If you don't remove the feet then you are limited in positioning the pedals as you have to accommodate the feet when using velcro on the bottom of the pedal.

I normally remove them and keep the rubber feet in the box it came with for a flat finish to the board.

Once again can I ask?  Don't plaster Velcro over serial and model numbers!

    Dave.

    Feet get in the way.

Keep em safe in the box for when you sell the pedal next week.
