Is this a mexican neck on a squier body?  The ad suggests logos, so maybe a fake neck?

From the ad it seems fairly clear that he's saying it's a Squier but the guy he bought it off put a Fender logo on it to lie to people about how expensive his guitar was

he's being honest ie not trying to pass it off as a fender even though the decal says otherwise.

To my knowledge only fender ever produced from Mexico, squier Japan, Korea and China I think.

The seller is a shark. I'd look elsewhere. Plenty more fish in the sea. Etc
