NGD....light as a feather...

Wonderful and I can assure the pics don't do it justice.

you should have bought a lawn mower mate
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

I bet it was cheap with all those dents and scratches. I'm sure you could get it refinished easily enough... ;-)

Love it James  I'm assuming is a proper vintage as the wear looks far to real for a relic??

It's not a Murphy with the thick fingerboard binding.

My best guess is a faded Standard with after-market ageing.

    Bingo!

It'll have my lacquer on. The guy in Bath who did this is one of my best customers.

    Good spot regarding the binding.

Honestly? Clive B (I was told) reliced 2004 standard. Now, if you know your LP's, 2004 was a fine year. Relic job is fantastic as the colour is right.

  • Cool guitar but someone in the chain of custody has gotten imaginative about Clive Brown’s involvement, as @miserneil says ;-)

I like the guitar, zebras and nice top. But not a fan of the relic'ing on this one at all.
