New Summer project..... PAISLEY STRAT

Ill get a day or two off over the summer, so Ive decided to build my version of a Paisley Stratocaster... by my version, I mean Scott At SCRELICS has done the body, Jon at Feline has fettled a GSP basses roasted maple neck and Ill do the soldering... I.e. ill put it together and finish it off. Here is the first part: The Gold Paisley Body... Its light, and so well finished that it looks old but in a well looked after manner.

It's great to see Scott's progression, starting out with the basic colours and finishes to now being able to do just about anything with incredible results.

I will get a daphne blue over pink paisley from him in due course.

Well.... I got a tad bored when the rain came down yesterday....so I decided to start the wiring, neck fitment etc of this strat... turns out I went to the finish line and so here it is in all its glory.....

Well I am so happy with the looks, however what you cant see in the pictures is how loud and resonant this thing is. The body LOVES the neck and they vibrate as ferociously as a helicopter. VERY VERY happy camper here.
