    I've got a 1964 descant recorder ...

    edit: and @stuckfast has a 1964 L100 Hammond. I know because I sold it to him ;)

Yep, I think that's what was intended ;)
"Working" software has only unobserved bugs. (Parroty Error: Pieces of Nine! Pieces of Nine!)
Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself

that's stunning and the only type of SG I'd want, George Harrison, Robbie Krieger, Mick Taylor etc

It looks a great guitar.  I love the wider neck SG's and really dislike the batwing pickguard.  I'd definitely leave the maestro, you can set them up so that they work well for subtle vibrato.

    Beauty.
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

Nice, how does it compare to your late 60's SG?
Actually been comparing them more, it's interesting. Unplugged the 69 is much louder and more acoustic in a way - not sure if this is a result of the larger cavity under the 'batwing'. The 64 is quieter and somehow sweeter/more complex (less brash).

And you hear this plugged in too, the 64 is much closer to my 53/9 Les Paul conversion, you can see how this model was the successor to the Les Paul - there's a common lineage.

The 69 is just more of everything, and in that does lose some of the subtlety, the 69 is instant Angus, Iommi etc - just in your face, the 64 more blues rock - which again fits with the whole Clapton vibe

The different pickups clearly make a difference - the 69 having T-tops which were/are much more mid-focussed, but also the acoustic tone variance I put down not only to the bat wing, but also a very, very different neck joint and profile (64 wide and flat, 69 narrower and thicker)

Very interesting.  I'd concur with your neck and pickup theory.  There was a good thread with photo's on the LPF about SG neck/body joints and heel shape in different years in the 60's.  Gibson seemed to keep changing the design.

    Great score!!

I don’t suppose you saw if Clem still had the Epiphone Coronet in did you??
Hi I met Clem at Denmark Street, but yes he still has it
You don’t want that Epi Neil, it’s a factory second!  ;)
