More daft questions - The SC250 seems to go for a lump less than the 245, is there any difference apart from scale length?
slightly hotter p/ups on a SC250 - adjustable wrap over on the SC250 - Sure that I recall SC250 are locking tuners
As far as I'm aware the SC250 is not weight relieved. It's also the basis for the Tremonti model.

    John,
That will sound very different to your old (now my) CE22. The CE has a more Fender-y attack, plus that thick lump of maple will react very differently to the body on the CE.

I've yet to play a 'bad' PRS neck but that CE really does have a special one.

And no, sorry... its not for sale, as its now my go-to guitar. :-)
    Dentist wanker :-P
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

I'm not going to say all SC250's are chambered, as PRS had a habit of changing such features without ever telling you - Don't recall them ever announcing that the original S/Cut would now be chambered  - Ditto SC245's and S250's as it was never announced as such that they were chambered - You just find out  - But SC250's are chambered

Granted the SC250 is closer to the Tremonti than a 245 - but still with slight differences and of course 2 different Tremonti's with fixed bridge or trem - Tremonti's not chambered

    250 1st then 245 further below
