The only possible issue is that you may have to readjust the truss rod once the weather returns to normal.

We had rain yesterday.  Real honest-to-god rain, falling from the sky and everything.

Audrey's Telecaster has needed adjusting twice since last week.
I tend to check the relief on each of our guitars every time I play now since the tools are only 3ft away and it only takes 2 minutes to adjust a truss rod but yeah, the whole heat vs neck thing does get on my nerves a bit.

I just checked my relief and its 0.5 mm, it was 0.25, so heat = more relief?

Obeche will do that - that neck pocket won’t be rock solid

Usually. The truss rod expands more than the neck, so it gets looser and the relief increases. But high humidity makes the neck expand as well, so it’s not totally predictable...

It's quite easy to dent and mark, and I would expect it will give a bit in the humidity as well.

We'll that didn't happen, still waiting on my bits, has anyone ordered from strings direct? They are usually quite quick when I order from them, on the upside its cooled right down here and has been raining all day.
