No. I want to buy every single piece of gear he ever demos. It would absolutely bankrupt me.

    Seriously...

He could be like “hey, check out this super 8-string djentomatic that I’m playing through this monster high gain amp rig” and I’d be like “I’ll take ten” notwithstanding the fact that there isn’t a situation in a million years where that kind of gear would suit my style. He can make literally anything sound stupendous.

  • You just need to drop them a line and get your name on the list.

    See you there ;)

If I lived nearer, I’d be there the following week for Joey Landreth too!

I'm contemplating getting to one of these and regret not getting to the Ian Thornley one in the past, but it's just the distance and getting there after work. A better idea for me would be to take the day or afternoon off and check out the shop as well as I've never been there (credit card will stay at home on that day)!

Max Miller & Tom Quayle are also scheduled to play in the near future.. I really like Max Miller's playing and sound(s). Check out his Toto medley with a great band.

The last Pete Thorn video I watched was this one:

    https://youtu.be/HU-hLhMQHg8

The same day eBay did a 10% off anything coupon. You can guess what happened next...

Well you could always come with me. I'm tempted to take an hour or two off that afternoon and head over for a gander at their stuff

I'll be amazed if he's making only the one appearance while over here - watch out for Sounds Great and GuitarGuitar to announce similar regional events...

....and probably Andertons which would be great exposure for Pete. They don't stock the amps and guitars, just pedals, but given their online presence, it would work out well for both parties. We'll see and good luck to Pete if he can get a reasonbable number of clinics

  • Depending on work, I might be in Australia then... not sure I'll be able to pop back O_o
Too much gain... is just about enough \m/

I'm probably the only member of this forum mentioned by name in Whiskey in the Jar ;)
