Can look really naff, or maybe it’s the case equivalent of road worn perhaps.

either way it helps to quickly Identify your own guitar, especially at multi-band gigs, jams, open mic nights that sort of thing.

Pointless stickers, maybe not. However if they are stickers that you have collected from shows you've done or from places you've played then that's valid.

At the end of the day it's up to you, do it because you want to, don't not do it because you are worried about what everyone will think.

Worst one is someone who has their name in big letter stickers on it...I know one of those types!

I use them, as the other guitarist in my band has a very similar case.

I have got second hand guitars with rough cases and covered in stickers. I don’t mind it at all. Looks like the case has had an interesting life.

Call it "relicked" and not "stickered". Adds to the value.

I took all the "Beano Guitar - Property of E Clapton" stickers of my old Les Paul case. I thought that they were devaluing it.

Stickers from pedals/gear stuff go on my case so I can spot it in a crowd. I'm into the idea of stencilling my initials in big white letters on cases as well, same purpose

stickers are cool, so do whatever you want,

They tend to add to the resonance and depth of tone of the guitar, adding haunting mids.
