SCAMMER WARNING: Due to a spate of recent scam attempts (some successful) recently, if you're doing a deal in the classifieds, ONLY USE PAYPAL GOODS AND SERVICES UNLESS YOU KNOW THAT INDIVIDUAL PERSONALLY. It's really not worth saving a few quid.

Ok guys I have decided to withdraw this one as my mate has some research to do on his guitar. I did ask if the description was accurate before I put it on here as I don’t know the model or the specific guitar and I didn’t expect to have to field so many questions which he isn’t able to reply to. The guitar is still for sale on Gumtree in the Bathgate area of Scotland if anyone is interested. He is an honest seller and will answer any questions or capture any evidence of internals etc that a potential buyer should ask for.

    Apologies

If it helps answer any of the outstanding questions on this thread though I have been passed the original eBay listing from when the previous owner was selling. My friend didn’t purchase via this listing but dealt on Facebook

Shouldn't it have some sort of different nut for the trem?

    Possibly this:

    Or the more standard version:

    No and no.

The OP's guitar has Sperzel locking 'heads.

But you can clearly see the filled screw holes where the locking nut has been removed?

Original pickups would have Gold, metric 'philips' head pole piece screws and a black semi open cover on the SG2000/s and the pickup rings would have 2 height/angle adjustment screws on the 6th string side and 1 height adjustment screw on the 1st string side.
