You'd get sacked for having beers with colleagues?

How can you have UFOs if the earth is flat?
I'd imagine it's the same as having identified flying objects, but ones you aren't able to identify ;)
Was after work. We were in services training, was around 8pm

Pretty interesting, although it was probably nothing. I mean why is it with UFO sightings no one ever gets a good proper look?
If they got a good look at it they'd be able to identify it and then it wouldn't be a UFO.

    Obvs.
Lol yeah, I get that. But why after all these years do they remain to be UFOs? Surely in this instance, and others, they could use satellites to get a closer look? And how come our satellites don't get pictures of them anyway? We've got all sorts of technology that could surely put an end to this UFO saga.

You do know where satellites are, right? They're a bloody long way away, and they're not very manoeuvrable. ;)

    I blame Vertex...
If it was Vertex they’d be identified as someone else’s flying objects, just rebadged, within a couple of months.

Er, you don't have to be at work and working to be with colleagues... having a social drink after work is encouraged by my company.

I bet if it was a celebrities nipple slip we would have a HD photo and 4K video in air in minutes, UFO's? Aliens visiting our planet? Sightings as few and far between as seeing a John Lewis ''partner'' able and willing to serve a customer on a Saturday morning, Probably the most important discovery since fire, But no, blurry photos and shaky videos at the best of times taken by someone who cant help but to comment nonsense during the entire episode and as a result add some shit music to the video before loading up to you tube in the worst possible quality setting known to man kind.

Ha ha good job you did – as you can probably tell, I'm pretty naïve! However, @robgilmo articulated what I was trying to get at much better. Thanks Rob  :)

Have a look at your own house on Google Earth and work out how long ago the satellite shot was taken.

Mine's been updated once in the ten years I've lived here. Satellite remote sensing and photography is pretty swish, but it doesn't let you get a photo of something with only minutes if notice.
