‘Reaction’ videos

Not a reaction series, but one I discovered around the same time. Must’ve come up as related.. but I’m absolutely fascinated by the Bonzology videos. I don’t even play drums, but I’m totally hooked..

As for the subject matter, I think I’m struggling with the idea of there being thousands of people making (usually, as I’ve done my research) pretty boring videos on YouTube of themselves watching videos.  It’s like an advanced-narcissism version of twitter.

I get it that the witty ones are entertaining, but they are rare in the extreme.  That couple I posted for example, are irritatingly bland.  She seems bored, tired and stupid and he, well...  just dull.
Why on earth would anyone PAY to see two boring people watch videos?  Some of their donations are over $1,000 FFS!

I just don’t understand it.  I mean, is there anything people won’t pay to watch these days?

How about this - if I get £1,000 in donations, I'll post a clip of me shitting into my kettle whilst playing "The Yellow Rose of Texas" on a kazoo.  Any takers ?
