Yup.

Got a bit of a promotion in the educational trust gig - got moved up to the Jazz / Big Band ensemble. Roughly 20 horns and reeds, keys, tubs and bass.

I really have to practice now! It's hard work - not so much the notes, more getting the feel right. We did our xmas concert last Saturday. 

Best of all - both my kids are in the ensemble too. Over talented little gits!

Great news on the bass front. My youngest (14) is fast becoming a bass wiz. It's ace to see your kids get into music isn't it?

In other news, I now own a Stingray & a fretless. All I need now is a full on daft expensive Precision and I will have fallen right down the bass hole good and proper!!

It's a stunning bass. I don't really play any of the others anymore. I should offload them really.... and get another ray5 as a back up!
