sorry but I don't like that scratchplate - agree it is distinctive but IMO not in a good way - otherwise I can see the attraction

I think that is utterly sensational. Love the scratchplate too.

I'm with you on the scratchplate Mark :-(  Takes up too much area spoiling that stunning flame, a smaller, bracketed LP type plate would suit far better IMO.

    I'd call it Emmanual (Macon).

  • I like the scratchplate, but I think that it looks better ...or; more appropriate, maybe... on the plaintop versions of this guitar

Very Nik Huber... it's like a Krautster II with more controls...

I can’t abide rosewood boards that light. Scratchplate I agree that on the plainer it looks good but shouldn’t be on that flame. Maybe a tort one but think none would be better. Either way, the fretboard is worse for me. Is it even rosewood?

Not my cup of tea and I'd agree that scratch plate looks wrong on such a fancy top. I'll take three of those white ones instead.

Like a lot of the newer Eggles, I think it just doesn't look right and is over priced.

  • Apart form it looking a bit odd, think having"Junior" in its name is misleading as without seeing it, many will assume it has one pick up; well at least I did!

I think that they look like superb guitars. I like the scratchplate on the White and wood finish ones, but not so much on the first guitar.

There is one thing I HATE though - that terrible jack socket. Absolutely horrendous and ugly, like fixing a piece of classical furniture by nailing a bit of pine on. It needs one of these:

Yes these are a great idea and much tidier. I have one of these on my new guitar.

I've always loved sound of staple-top pickups.  I've just discovered that it's from Mojo - how's it working out?

What I find odd about this is the concept of taking posh guitars from the UK to NAMM. Seems a bit coals to Newcastle. They aren't short of people who can do that kind of stuff. That's not a criticism of PE it just seems odd to me.

Meanwhile planning how to steal that white guitar off Thorpy...
