I find Andertons a bit hit & miss; they recently had their Black Friday sale and took the prices off the Markbass kit, but when I enquired about a price they quoted me list. They also list the Keith McMillen 12-step, but act bemused if you ask about it.

When I go there I always come out of Guitar Village wondering why I bothered, including the time I asked staff who were wearing Trace Elliot shirts about TE gear and them being clueless.

Incidentally, I have just bought a Markbass amp and a 12-step online - I went to shops over a period of months trying to find them in person, but gave up and used my mouse instead.

So, both shops are now closed for the day, and I see no NGD or NAD post from you. 

In fact, not even a NPD post.

No = don't bother. All the interesting guitars on the website have been up years and now sold or don't belong to/reside in the shop. Except the inlaid LP that he just can't flog...

No - I live in there! Being on my doorstep I can be in there every day if I want. I don't cos that would probably get me banned or sent across the road to the Public Library to '"do that sort of thing"! But is not just the guitars, it is a lovely and painstakingly restored and preserved building dating back in part to the middle ages.

maybe - but ring ahead first. Me and another 4 potential punters have all made wasted journeys over past year - often for the same listing!

No - I've never had a problem with the staff there. They've set me up for trying stuff when I've asked, or left me alone when I've said that I was just browsing.

I really want to like them. Store is beautiful. Prices outright crazy and they have a lot of stock gathering dust that sits there forever. I was laughing recently at some splated maple artisan models they had. Didn’t sell so they increased the price by £600. Genius.
I got a guitar my mail order once from them and it was an absolute dog. I can’t say they were brilliant about me sending it back.
Its a real shame as it has the same feel as Coda, but without the service

After the trauma of an Andertons visit on a Saturday he's quite likely in a state of shock, poor chap. Probably incoherently mumbling whilst staring at a wall somewhere.

Or he may just have changed his name to EL34 and is now residing at TGP.
