The outro riff to DLBIA sticks in my head more than the main solo, how to finish a song.
yes indeed - you can have more than one solo in a song!

Not a big Oasis fan, but I have to agree with those citing Live Forever.  One gem of wisdom from Brian May is that the best solos are those which the audience can sing along with, and that one certainly nails it.

I’ll still be sticking with this one as my pick, which I certainly can’t sing along to.

Wiz'd so sad it stopped before the "He Man Woman Hater" riff. I spent ages learning that.

Awesome riff.  Took me a long time to realise it was ultra-aggressive hammer-ons rather than picked throughout.

Easy one for me- Jason Falkner's solo in She Goes to Bed, and I don't even normally like solos.
Even Dave Gregory agrees it's one of the greatest solos ever.
I think it's one of the greatest songs ever too.

Richard Lloyds solos on Matthew Sweet's Girlfiend LP are up there too.

You listened to it so many times you probably didn't hear much else in the 90's! ;)

Brian May agrees, and he's a professor of wizardry and hairdressers or something

Also, any solo by Dimebag Darrell. Not necessarily my cup of tea but what a great guitarist.

The solo to A New Level is spectacular. Definitely one of my all time favourites.

Most of the solos I loved have been mentioned but it was something so haunting about the solo in Garden by Pearl Jam.

Lots of the solos from they boys in Skid Row.  In a darkened room and wasted time I totally loved.
