I watched all 6 episodes last night. Not much of a comedy, but bittersweet, human & beautiful. Quality stuff.

Compelling and sincere without cheap laughs..

This is head and shoulders better than anything he's done before.

Just watched episode 1. I love the location; Hemel Hempstead for the outside scenes. It's really well filmed and the script is outstanding. I love it, tragically funny and yet very thoughtfully poignant. 

Outstanding telly.

By which you mean the first couple of episodes as the rest is just the same jokes rehashed until they're not funny any more, though somehow Gervais made a career out of because he did the same jokes for at least a decade?
